The first Kia Sportage was introduced in 1995 and the soft top models began appearing in 1996. The 1996 to 2002 Kia Sportage soft top is the same through this year range. Although there are 'third world' manufactured budget tops, most of these do not have original configuration. We carry the original configuration Kia Sportage soft top. Our Kia soft top features original zip out windows and other features originally designed for Kia. Our Kia soft top utilizes the original Kia hardware in its installation. This is not the cheapest Kia top on the market. Please inquire if you prefer a budget imported Kia soft top.

Fabrics:

The original Kia Sportage soft top fabric, on most dealer cars, was a pigskin grained vinyl. Our replacement Kia tops are available in this top vinyl.

Four Ply Top:

We carry the four ply top which provides greater durability for off road drivers whose Kias impact an unusual amount of dust and debris. Most Kia Sportage owners do not do much off road driving and the regular Kia soft top will give excellent wear at a lower price. We do not recommend the added expense of a 4 ply top for the non-off-road Kia driver.
