We offer the Isuzu Amigo soft top. The Isuzu Amigo convertible top is a very popular replacement soft top. We offer two different Amigo replacement soft tops: One for the Isuzu Amigo convertible made between 1988 and 1994, and one for the Isuzu Amigo convertible made between1998 and 2002.

Our Isuzu Amigo replacement top is made to duplicate dealer tops. The rear window and side windows zip out. The deck has the original dealer snaps, and you'll find Velcro attachments on the windows and the top. The rear window section has sliding black tubing, as originally designed into the car's channel.

Choosing Your Isuzu Amigo Soft Top

The Isuzu Amigo convertible top fabric was originally made of a Japanese convertible top vinyl, which is now obsolete. Today, you can buy an Amigo soft top made of Crush Grain Soft Top Vinyl, Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl, and Chrysler Sailcloth Vinyl. Here's what you need to know about each before you make your purchase:

Black Crush Grain Vinyl: Our most popular Isuzu Amigo convertible top is made of crush grain soft top vinyl. This material is made up of several layers of rubber and vinyl. The last layer is treated for resistance to abrasion, weather, and UV. Black Crush Grain Vinyl is imprinted with a "grain" pattern. This Amigo replacement top is very similar to the original Isuzu Amigo soft top. Crush grain Isuzu Amigo soft tops are available in black or white.

Four-ply Crush Grain Vinyl: Isuzu Amigo soft tops made of four-ply crush grain vinyl have the same appearance as tops made of two-ply crush grain vinyl--only four-ply is more durable thanks to a double layer of butyl rubber. This vinyl is also known as "double-coated PVC," and it's recommended for off-road users.

Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl: Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl is a two-ply composite with a PVC outer layer and a cotton inner lining. Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl is a popular convertible top fabric. This soft top fabric is original to most American cars made before 1993. Pinpoint refers to the little dots on the vinyl surface. If you take care of a Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl convertible top, it can easily last 10 years.

Chrysler Sailcloth: This fabric is featured on many late LeBarons, Sebrings, certain Mustangs and other cars. It is structurally (wear quality) equivalent to the Haartz Pinpoint but has a different surface grain. The grain was designed to imitate the look of canvas. It's an exceptionally rich looking material. Sometimes it's chosen for replacing convertible tops that originally featured pinpoint vinyl. Like Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl and Crush Grain Vinyl, Chrysler Sailcloth is a 36-ounce vinyl, but it has a different texture.The pinpoint and the sailcloth offer more colors.
