The BMW Z3 convertible (Roadster) is an eagerly sought after classic, and it is popular with do-it-yourself restorers. The top is a one-piece top, which means the top and the rear window are already integrated for a seamless do-it-yourself installation.

There is a real hang up in the installation and that is the attachment of the Z3 top along the sides of the convertible top frame. That hang up has been the need to use a replaceent convertible top side cable kit to perform the install.

This is the only BMW Z3 convertible top that we know of that has OEM cables sewn into the convertible top side hems. This allows the top installer to completely remove the old cables, which have to be cut anyway. And with this easy-install Z3 top the new cables are in place for direct attachment.
