Studebaker Convertible Tops and Convertible Top Parts

The Studebaker is one of the most classic car designs produced. There is even a Studebaker museum located in South Bend, Indiana. Some of the Studebakers on exhibit there are official "national treasures." Proud Studebaker convertible owners may want to consider a visit there!

Original Patterns:

Studebaker manufactured convertibles from 1946 to 1964. There were several different model names but in any year most Studebaker convertible models had the same convertible top frame and the same convertible top. Our factory has made computer "maps" of original Studebaker tops and creates fine reproductions of all the Studebaker convertible tops for all years.

Classic Top Design:

Like almost all American convertibles the Studebaker convertible top was designed to install in two sections, the rear window section and, over the convertible's rear window, the main top. We have a manual on installing two part convertible tops, which applies to the Studebaker convertibles. This convertible top manual is summarized below. The full manual is available on any of the Studebaker convertible top links shown on the right.

General Information:

The "Help" link describes fabrics, warranty details and other issues that may be of interest to the shopper for a new convertible top.

We have been in the convertible top and parts business since 1975.

Each Studebaker convertible top page has a link to the same company 'Help' information.

Do-it-yourselfers: Read a summary of convertible top installation.
